  7. Susie, When are you going to announce who all won the stuff in the June mag?

    ReplyDelete
  8. Hi Susie... on the June issue of the mag, it says that on the Web, you'll have stuff such as modesty at the pool, more on Alyson Stoner, etc. but I can't seem to find them.

Will you still be adding these things to the website?

    ReplyDelete
  9. Oops.. I found the web stuff on Alyson Stoner, but I still can't find the extra Web info from "Shapin' Up".

    ReplyDelete
  10. Yeah, the Alyson Stoner stuff is the only I found that the girl b4 me mentioned.

  11. Hi Susie! When will u announce who won the contests for the "free stuff"? I had entered, and I was just wondering...

Yeah, it's really sad that Michael Jackson died...I wish he'd known Jesus. :(

  15. Agreed about Michael Jackson! I found out on thursday night cause I was at camp. It is sad because I don't think he was a Christian.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I know! Well, maybe, in that last minute, they accepted Jesus as their Savior. I guess we'll find out when we get to heaven, huh?

  18. To Alannah: You could do book/movie reviews. I just wrote Top Reasons You Shouldn't Read "Twilight". (I am totally against those books. You can check it out on my blog.)

Did you hear? Billy Mayes died!

    -Kay

  19. To Kay:

Thanks for the idea! I might just do that! (I'm extremely, totally, against Twilight!) And yes, I heard the Billy Mayes died! That's so sad!

  20. Oh! Kay, I tried getting to your blog, but the address won't work:( I'd really like to check it out!

    ReplyDelete
  21. I tried to check out her blog to and it didn't work. Could you give it to us again? And maybe he did become a Christian you never know! I guess this is a lesson to us that life happens quick. We all die eventually so we need to help our friends understand that they will die sometime!

  23. Why are all these famous people dying?
To Kay; I tried to get to your blog also, and it said that it didn't exist!
To Allanah; Your blog is cool! I like the idea of posting movie/book reviews, and I am also against Twilight.
To Susie; How will we know when the sisterhood is ready?
    Erin

  24. "s the sisterhood a thing where we have to renew our subscriptions like the mag or do we only have to pay once? cause I probably won't be able to get it if I have to pay for it more than once (or not at all cause I'm already subscribed). One more thing, how are we gonna get the code exactly? Is it gonna be in the mag, e-mailed to us or what?

    Charis"

(Just thought I'd post it since her question never really got answered)

So how's setting up the Sisterhood coming along? Sounds fun!

  25. Sorry you couldnt find my/mom's blog! (it's a "family blog") I will check it out later...
I am soooo glad that I am not the only teenage girl against Twilight! It's sad that so many girls have opened their hearts to that kind of stuff.

  26. Yeah, I really don't think Twilight is very good either. My friends read it, but I really don't like it.

  27. Hey Ashley M!
I looked at your blog, too, and your poems are really good!
    Erin

  28. I agree Ashley! I really liked the most recent one you did. It was really good and something I needed to read.

  29. Does anyone know how long it'll take for the winners of the "free stuff" contest-thing to be announced? I entered, and I am kinda anxious...Am I the only one who feels this way? :)
    - "Kay" (it's actually a nickname...)

P.S. Has anyone seen HSM3? I'd love to see it, but the 2nd one was kinda...well..."obsessed with the dating scene"

    ReplyDelete
  30. Dear Susie,
Hi! I subscribed to Brio (LOVED it!) and was really disappointed when it was discontinued. I have enjoyed looking at susiemag.com!
Thanks for keeping your ministry going,
    ~Annie~

    ReplyDelete
  31. Hey Kay!
Yes, I am anxious, too. And I have seen HSM3. In my opinion, it was totally unecesary. They should have made 1 and 2, then stopped. They were kind of obesessed with the dating scene. If I were you, I wouldn't waste my time watching it, but that's just my opinion.
Did you here that they're making a HSM4?? That is totally crazy!!
    Erin

    ReplyDelete
  32. Thanks for your opinion, Erin! Was there anything seriously wrong with it, tho? (like...well, u know...) HSM4? Wow...And I thought Hannah Montana was bad...lol
    Kay

  33. Hey, It's Kay (or Kat) again! Do any of you girls know anything about Family Force 5? (are they "screamo"?...) I was curious...I wanted to look into them, maybe try them out...I highly reccommend Relient K, though! They are soooo cool! If you have never listened to them, you ought to. What are your favorite bands? I know, it seems random, but I'm trying to find some Christian bands-for teens...

    "Kat"

    ReplyDelete
  34. Hey Kay!(Or Kat)
There was nothing seriously wrong with HSM3. I just didn't really like it.
My brother and dad listen to Family Force 5. They are a little bit screamo, but some of their songs are kind of cool.
    I love Relient K!!
    Erin
P.S. I like BarlowGirl, Super chick, and Addison Road, and I also like Francesca Batistelli and Britt Nicole, but those aren't bands!

    ReplyDelete
  35. To erin.haagsma@gmail.com and Kay [or Kat!]-
I love all those bands! Relient K is reaaaaaaally good, and I really like BarlowGirl, Superchick, Francesca Battistelli and Britt Nicole! I like Hawk Nelson the best though =P
Check out me and my friend Hannah's blog!!!:
    www.hannahandessy13.blogspot.com.

[HSM4?!?! I think I'm going to pass out if they make more...*bashes head against wall* They should stop making those movies- hardly anyone likes them anymore!! Sorry if I am offending anyone :) Just my opinion. Have any of you guys seen Hatching Pete? It was OK, just too many crushes haha]

    ReplyDelete
  36. This is so off topic... But those shoes in the July isssue are so cute!!! :D As for HMS3 I liked it a little better than HMS2 but that was because I saw it with my Mom and she loved it! It was fun to watch her watch the movie! I guess I liked it better because I liked the music more. As far as HSM4... uh no... arn't they already out of high school? Is it going to be college musical now? hee hee :D Oh well, movie-makers will be movie-makers! So much fun looking at everyone's blogs! You girls are great!
Lylms! (Love Yall Like My Sisters!)

  37. HSM4? That'd be weird... I've only seen the first one. Yeah, they wouldn't be in high school anymore.

Relient K is awesome!!! And I like Hawk Nelson a lot too. All of the bands and singers you mentioned are cool. (Except I've never heard Family Force 5)

    ReplyDelete
  38. To Ester; Yes I saw Hatching Pete. I thought it was okay, too. When I saw the commercials for it, I thought is looked kind of dumb, so I guess you could say the movie was better than I thought it would be!
    I love Hawk Nelson, too!
    To everyone else, (and Ester, too!);
I think that it is really cool that we can comunicate like this, even though we've never met! I can't wait for the sisterhood to be ready!!
    Love in Christ,
    Erin

  39. Yeah, the Sisterhood will be awesome!
Oh, and I added another poem to my blog today.

  40. I had problems with Hatching Pete...

  41. To Kat:

Yeah, I thought it was obsessing over crushes and weird relationships too much in an unhealthy way...but it has a good lesson to draw from it. :)

    ReplyDelete
  42. I definatley agree, Esther, it was too obsessed with dating/kissing. (What happened to good ol fashioned Disney????)
Does anyone think this is weird? Having "blog conversations" on someone else's blog? (Sorry, Susie!) lol
    Kat

    ReplyDelete
  43. I always like a good love story, but when that's not supposed to be the main story line, they need to lay off a bit. I agree with Kay and Esther!
    Erin

    ReplyDelete
  44. Like I said: What happened to Disney?? Did you hear about the new episode of Hannah Montana? What happened to Miley? She used to be so...well, you know!

    Kay (or Kat) 8-)

    ReplyDelete
  45. Hey, Kay here!
AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH! What happened to the Cody Linely article! I was telling my friend about it and wanted to email it to her, but I cant find it! Anyway, I always like to hear that some fave actors are Christians! (although I cant believe he does Hannah Montana!)

    ReplyDelete
  46. I did it! So, me...ninth? 8-)

  47. I happen to really like High School Musical. I think it is very clean and that they did a really good job with it, even in the second and third one. I am not sure what the 4th (yes, they are making a 4th) will be like because they are using a new director, and a whole new cast (Although, I think Ashley Tisdale may still be in, not sure though). So, it may be different than the first three.

I do think that some of Disney's stuff is a little too heavy when it comes to boyfriend/girlfriend stuff, but this movie seems to be ok. I also think Disney has changed stuff, and while I like some of the stuff (I usually think Hannah Montana, Jonas, and some of the other ones are ok), I think that some (Like the one with Salena Gomez, can't think of the name at the moment), is going a little far. Especially with the majic stuff in it. Anyway, just my thoughts!

    KK from IA

Also, I loved the Cody Linely article too!

    ReplyDelete
  48. The show with Selena Gomez is Wizards of Waverly Place...I also have problems with that show. The first HSM flick was pretty good, I will admit, but in the second, Zac Efron's character seemed "obsessed" with trying to kiss Hudgen's character...just my opinion...

    Love you sisses in Christ!
    "Kay" 8-)

    ReplyDelete
  49. To Kay:
I agree! I was so disappointed with the beginning of the first HSM. I mean, it seemed Troy was trying to get close to Gabriella (Hudgens). It was annoying.

    To KK From IA:
My friend loves HSM too, but I have problems with their way of communicating crushes...IDK, everyone is different, I respect everyone's opinions. Myself, I don't agree with it and neither do my parents, so yeah. :)

    To Erin:
Yeah!!!! I agree ALL THE WAY!!! What happened to Good ol' Disney? haha

It's almost as if the sisterhood has started here on this blog...hahaha it's so cool

    ReplyDelete
  50. K...New band...Philmont! They're waaaaaay cool!
    I rarely ever watch Disney anymore-unless it's Jonas. Hey, don't laugh! At least it's clean!! (hmmm...secret pleasures...lol)
