Hi, Girls!

Some of you are asking about the online global sisterhood and when it will begin.
We really wanted it to launch in September . . .
but it looks like it will be October.

We do have some of the new "skin" up on our Web site:
susiemag.com
but it's just taking a while to get the sisterhood all put together.

It's amazing, though.
I just finished a three-hour photo shoot for it today.
You'll get some video-devotions from me,
a column from Obie,
a bunch of new stuff,
and best of all—
you'll be able to interact with the sisterhood:
other girls around the world who are also
plugged into SUSIE Magazine.

We're creating something really cool—
a symbol—
that we'll print inside the magazine.
And you'll hold it up to your computer
camera
and it will immediately take you inside.
It's hard for me to explain,
because I'm so tech illiterate,
but it really IS cool!

And if you don't have a camera
on your computer,
you'll still be able to make it work.

So if you have friends who haven't yet subscribed
to the printed magazine,
please get them signed up quickly!

This would be a great b-day gift
for you to give your friends.

I love you, Girls!

  1. Just to be clear-if we have already been getting the magazine, we don't have to pay for the extra online sisterhood, right?

  3. I'm so excited!! I seriously can't wait until it officially starts! Thanks Susie so much for this great opportunity!

Okay, so I haven't gotten my mag yet. Is it because I live in Canada? But yet the first couple of issues of Susie came right away. Should I be concerned?

  6. Yes, if you're currently subscribed to the magazine (or if you subscribe in the next week), you'll get the online global sisterhood free for one year. Everyone else will have to pay $13 for it.

  11. Yes, I did get the Bible Susie!! :) And thank you SO much, it really means a lot! It has really been an encouragement to me. Everything has been really stressful for me lately...my shcedule is so packed that I don't even have time to check email or read many blog posts lately. Although in the time I do have, your writing has really been an encouragement! thanks for everything you do,

  21. i was wondering if anyone knows some ideas that will work to raise $3000 for the susie mission trip?
And ways you can ask your parents to go?
    Thanks

  22. Some ideas for fundraising would be...

Hold a grage sale and advertise what the proceeds will be going to.

Anouce your goals at your church, and then place a decorated shoebox where people can place a donation.

Hold a spagetti dinner at your church and get your friends to help.

Take a friend, and offer lawn work (mowing, shoveling snow, raking leaves) around your neighborhood. Make sure to mention what your raising money for.

I hope this helps, and God bless you in your fundraising!

  26. Susie,
What do you mean, "the camera on your computer"? If you mean a webcam, most people don't have one. So does this mean the only way to get into the online sisterhood is to buy a webcam?
